Saturday morning the weather was looking pretty dreary, but Julie and I were optimistic.  We arrived to find Judy in very good spirits as well.  Thankfully we had arranged to take pictures of the couple before the ceremony, and the rain broke just long enough for some great outdoor shots.  With so many guests from around the globe, this wedding was a real international event.  The groom in his Scottish attire was a treat to photograph, especially with nephew Walter in his mini version!  Everything worked out so well, I hope they love the pictures.

It was a lovely day at Clovelly.  A little misty rain started just before the ceremony, but it cleared up just in time.  It was a short day for me..  After the main event, brunch was served.  What a great idea for a Sunday wedding!

 

What a fantastic weekend here in Newfoundland!  The weather was warm & sunny – what good fortune for the brides.  I covered two weddings this weekend.. the first was Stephanie and Jason’s on Saturday.  We were able to get some great shots by the water at Quidi Vidi as well as some group shots on the streets of downtown St. John’s.  Here is a preview of their wedding day!

The weather in Harbour Grace yesterday was perfect – partly cloudy with occasional fog.  It was a bit cool, but this is Newfoundland.  Dawn & Darren were great.. so easy going and relaxed on their big day.  We were able to get some great shots by the bay with the fog in the background. I hope they love their pictures.
