Congratulations Stephanie & Jonathan !

Stephanie phoned me only a few months ago looking for a photographer, & as luck would have it the day was still open.  When I discovered that the wedding would be at the Basilica & she had only booked that a few days before I was amazed… luck was definitely on her side.  I love grand architecture and the Basilica is about as grand as it gets.  The day went off without a hitch.  All bases were covered for the planned photography… Bannerman Park for the greenery, Habour Side Park for the water, & Stephanie’s Nan’s on Mt. Scio Rd. for a panoramic view.  With partly cloudy skies and a slightly cool temperature, it was just about a perfect day.  Stephanie & Jonathan are so good together, I know they will live happily ever after.

Congratulations Jeannine & Perry !

What a fantastic day it was on Friday… sunny and just a little cool.  I was happy to discover that Jeannine had some extra special treats lined up for after the ceremony, a dove release on the church steps and a horse and carriage ride down to Bowring Park… super cool.  We had lots of time to get shots in Bowring Park, then the newlyweds were picked up in the second cool ride for the day – a glossy red 1964 (I think) Chevy Impala… NICE!  I wish all the best for Jeannine, Perry & Tara.

Congratulations Lesley, Jeff, Lori & Mike !

This past Saturday I had the opportunity to shoot a double wedding.. yep, two brides (sisters), two grooms, two bridal parties.  It was so much fun!  Everyone was very relaxed, considering all that had to be organized.  It was an absolutely beautiful day.. the weather was perfect for outdoor shots, so we took advantage of several locations around the city.  They had the coolest limo-bus to drive the 18 members of the bridal parties.. it was the first time I’d seen that!  Thanks for letting me be a part of your big day.  Congrats to both couples – Lesley and Jeff, Lori and Mike!

Congratulations Shawnda & Wesley !

Friday I was on the road early for Marystown… I didn’t mind the 3 hour drive, as the weather was lovely.  When I arrived Shawnda was super excited and had lots of ideas for photos, which was great.  We had a fun time, even with the whole bridal party trekking through the woods in high heels.  I was glad we could fit in a stop at Frenchmans Cove for some great shots of the newlyweds by the water.  I wish the best of luck to Shawnda & Wesley… and I hope they love the photos!

Annika & Xenia

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of photographing two lovely girls, Annika (4) and Xenia (16 mths).  I worked with their parents several years ago and haven’t seen them since I did their maternity photos, when they were pregnant with Annika.. where does the time go?!  We had a fun day catching up and we were able to take advantage of the sunshine and get some great shots outdoors.  The girls had fun feeding the ducks and I think we got some beautiful images.  It was great seeing you guys!  I hope you like them!

Congratulations Emily & Travis

Friday was the perfect day for an outdoor wedding.  Emily & Travis chose Murray’s Pond as the venue for their ceremony & reception which made for some great photo opportunities.  The green apple accents & centerpieces gave a wonderful fresh feel and really stood out.  The water was a beautiful backdrop, and as the sun went down it created a romantic atmosphere for the evening.  Emily and Travis are an awesome couple and I wish them all the best!
