Ayden collage

I did a photo session of Paula when she was pregnant, and then again a few months ago with her son Ayden.  Paula recently requested a collage incorporating images from both sessions, which I think is an excellent idea.

New Website UP :)

I have my redesigned web site UP and running, YEAH!  I think it’s pretty cool.  It’s still at the same address>> http://www.nategates.com   Any feedback on it is appreciated (especially if you encounter any problems).    – Nate

New Website coming SOON…

I almost have my web site redesign finished (which will include updated packages/prices for 2008), just working out the bugs.  I hope to have it up & running within a week.

Congatulations Lisa and Norman !

Global warming is certainly showing its effects here in Newfoundland, serving up a mild and rainy day in January for Lisa & Norman.  Norman is a farmer, so we braved the wet weather for a few shots in front of his shiny green John Deere tractor.  At the reception hall, a cutout of Frosty and Crystal made for a slightly less traditional portrait of the bride and groom.  I wish you guys a wonderful 2007!

Congratulations Krista and Robert !

What a super wedding!  It was so nice to finally meet Krista & Bob.  They had booked me from where they are living now, Buffalo NY.. where I grew up!  The ceremony was early, which allowed us time for some great sunlit outdoor shots.  Winterholme was a welcome venue for the family and bridal party photos, because as beautiful as the day was, it was still bitter cold. We jotted up to Signal Hill to get a few shots with the spectacular sunset before ending up at the Battery Hotel for the night.  The reception was fabulous.. everyone had a blast dancing the night away.  Krista & Bob are two of the nicest people you could meet.. I wish them all the best!

Congatulations Shauna & Jason !

Shauna & Jason had a beautiful winter day for their wedding.  Many guests had come from away.. including the bride and groom.  The ceremony was not scheduled until late in the day which meant I would be doing photos of the newlyweds in the dark.. a perfect opportunity for me to utilize a variety of lighting gear.  We were able to use the Fluvarium reception location with it’s lovely stone fireplace for family & bridal party shots.  Good luck to Shauna & Jason… I hope you love the photos.
