I did a shoot last week with Heather at Dance Studio East. Heather has been practicing ballet since she was young and is a very talented dancer. Her instructor Martin was present to assist with the specific poses. It was hard work, but well worth the effort.  The photos are stunning.
 
The Provincial Bodybuilding and Figure Championships took place this past Saturday. I recognized some of the competitors from the Heavyweights competition I attended this past fall. You guys (and girls!) are in fantastic shape. Congratulations to the winners! The results are posted on the website – http://www.nlabba.com

Some of my favorite moments to capture with my photography are those between a mother and child. This week I’ve got the cover shot on the Newfoundland Herald.. of Sharon Snow and her two sweet kids. There are several more photos from this shoot with the inside story. Happy Mother’s Day!!
 
Meet Ashton. How cute is this kid??!! He has such amazing expressions for a one year old. There were lots of great shots to choose from after our session.. here are a few of my favorites.
 
The weather has been fairly typical of ‘Spring’ here in Newfoundland.. sunny, but still cold, and lots of rain, drizzle and fog lately too. I met up with Stacey and Robert (and their cute dog, Gideon!) recently to do their engagement photo session on the Rennie’s Mill Trail. They are a great couple, and I look forward to photographing their wedding in January (it will be here before you know it!)
