Congratulations Heather & Tim!

This was my first of THREE weddings this weekend, and what a great way to start!  Heather and Tim had a fantastic wedding.  I have to say, I had so much fun working with you guys.  You have a great group of friends, and you really know how to have a party.  The reception was all about the dancing, and you all looked like you were having a blast.  The pictures of Heather playing air guitar are the best! You’re gonna love them!  Ellen Foley did an awesome job with the flowers and decor for this wedding, and she was actually a bridesmaid, as she is a close friend of Heather’s.  Thanks so much guys.  I hope to see you all again soon!

Congratulations Alison & Glen !

Alison and Glen had a beautiful wedding in the scenic town of Freshwater, Carbonear.  Their ceremony took place at St. Patrick’s, a centuries old church that is spectacular, inside and out.  We took lots of photos of the happy couple on the street where Alison grew up.  She loved the look of the canopy of trees, and I have to agree that the images are breathtaking.  We also stopped at the lovely NaGeira House , as well as on the rocky beach of Crocker’s Cove.  It was a great day, and you guys were a pleasure to hang out with.  All the best to you both!

Laura and Chris – Congratulations!

Laura and Chris are an awesome couple, and they had a fantastic wedding.  They are both totally fun and spontaneous, which is just perfect for my style of photography.  There were so many amazing photos to choose from, I am thrilled with the way they turned out.  Laura was a beautiful bride, and showed so much emotion in her smile.  It was a pleasure to photograph her and Chris.  Laura managed to overcome her fear of walking on floating docks, so that we could get some pictures on the harbour front, and as if it were a sign of this being the perfect day, a giant rainbow appeared through the narrows.  Thanks so much, guys. You made my job easy.  I wish you nothing but happiness.

Congratulations Domenica & Jon !

Domenica and Jon obviously do not suffer from triskaidekaphobia (fear of the number 13) or paraskavedekatriaphobia (fear specifically of Friday the 13th).  They were married this past Friday, the 13th of July.  Perhaps because in Italian culture, the number 17 is considered unlucky, so 13 was not an issue for them.   Their ceremony was held at St. Patrick’s Church, with the reception following at R.Gushue Hall.  They had also booked the suite and grounds at Memories Forever (http://memoriesforever.nl.ca/), where we took advantage of the impeccable landscaping to get group shots of the large wedding party.  It was a beautiful day, and you guys were lots of fun to work with.  I wish you the best of luck!

Hey.. If you are trying to get to my website, ‘www.nategates.com’ will not go there right now.  Here is a temporary address >> http://reunion.globat.com/~nategates.com/

My domain name is not working at the moment (and any photos associated with it – like the images here on my Blog).  I hope to get this resolved via my web host ‘Globat’ ASAP…
