I am officially a ‘Boudoir Diva’

While in Las Vegas, I attended a workshop put off by the Boudoir Divas – Marissa Boucher & Kimberlee West. These girls specialize in boudoir photography in Southern California, and I thought it would be cool to watch them in action.. to observe their shooting style and to see how they interact with their clients.  Turns out, I am doing it right!  12 photographers all shooting the same model starts to feel a bit like paparazzi.. then someone gets a bit too excited and pulls out a 70-200 f 2.8 L lens in a small room.. FUN STUFF!!

Happy Easter!

I don’t have an Easter picture for today… but here are some shots that pretty much sum up the Las Vegas experience …I had a blast hanging out with Chuck Arlund, Bjorn Meisner and Jeff Poole on Freemont Street!  With seminars every day starting at 8am and running through ’til about 9pm, it was good to let loose and rock it with these guys.

WPPI 2008 – Las Vegas, baby!

I’m excited to tell you that I just got back from the WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International) Convention and Trade Show, in Las Vegas!  It was an amazing week.  The WPPI is the largest annual convention for professional photographers in the world, and it was an insane amount of fun!  I picked up tons of information, and hung out with some serious party people.  I am still recovering.. catching up on sleep and work, but stay tuned!  I will be posting lots of images from the week’s events. http://www.wppionline.com/

Ella – 2 months

I love it when people fall asleep during our session!  No really, whenever I get to photograph babies both asleep and awake, I’m happy.  There is just something so precious about a sleeping baby.. and little Ella was no exception.

Grant – 2 weeks

I shot a maternity session with Renee and Brad a couple of months ago, and was very excited to meet their new baby boy – Grant.  He is just 2 weeks old, and is such a cutie! Congratulations you guys..  I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Colin & Nichole

Colin and Nichole are way too much fun.  We braved the cold and wind last week, and headed out to Middle Cove to shoot their Engagement session.  You can just tell that these two love to have a great time together, and they really brought their personalities to our shoot.  We got tons of awesome images.. so turn up the volume and check out their slideshow.. also known as “The Colin and Nichole Show”!
