Danielle and Steve – Engagement session

Danielle and Steve are ‘Young Doctors in Love” (does anybody else remember that film?).  Thankfully, they are both used to being up at ridiculous times because the only time we could coordinate our schedules was to shoot at sunrise.  It was chilly  freezing up on Signal Hill, but it was worth it!  You guys were awesome.  I can’t wait for your wedding next June!

Merry Christmas!!!

I just want to take a minute to wish my loyal clients and dedicated blog-stalkers a joyous holiday season.

I did a bunch of shoots recently of kiddies in their holiday attire, but little Luke has to be the cutest.  So… here he is! -

Have an AWESOME Christmas!!!  -Nate

Amanda & Jing – October 18, 2008

Photographing another photographer’s wedding is pretty sweet.. because they just “get it”.  Jing is a professional photographer ‘up in Canada’, but Amanda is a Newfoundlander so of course they chose to get married here.  After their wedding ceremony, they had a traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony.  ’twas awesome.

Lynnann & Michael – October 17, 2008

I had an amazing day with Lynnann and Michael.  Lynnann looked absolutely stunning!  This shot of her sitting in the leather chair reminds me of something from Alice in Wonderland.  So gorgeous.  It was a great day, and you can tell that these two are just made for each other.  I wish you both much happiness.

Joan & Mike – October 11, 2008

On a scale of One to Awesome, Joan and Mike are right at the top!!  Joan booked me over two years ago because it was important to her to have incredible pictures of her wedding.. I think we accomplished that.  Congratulations Joan and Mike.. it was such a pleasure!

Claire – 9 months

I spend a lot of time at Middle Cove Beach, photographing families and wedding parties.  It is always beautiful, but on the day I photographed little Claire and her family, it was unlike I had ever seen it.   The waves were so strong and so huge!  This was not long after an incident in September when a ’rogue wave’ crashed onto the shore, dragging 4 people out into the ocean.  Sounds unbelievable, but you can read about it here.  We were lucky on this day to be able to watch the magnificent waves from a safe distance.  It was pretty awesome.
